The Shelby Star published the news that the Cleveland County School System has nine failing and low performing schools out of a total of 28 schools, which is no surprise to many. Those who have attended meetings or watched via the internet have seen this for years.

The board unanimously approved this, less than a week before The Star’s report related to the failing schools. This purchase exemplifies the Wit & Wisdom, or lack of, from the governing leaders of the school and board.
